5:30 to 8 p.m.
The Trappe Tavern
416 W. Main Street
Trappe, PA 19426
Join us for Tavern Night, $30 per person includes dinner and two drinks.
All proceeds will benefit the restoration of The Speaker’s House, home of Frederick Muhlenberg, first Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and first signer of the Bill of Rights. Located in Trappe, Montgomery County, Pa., this historic landmark was nearly torn down for commercial development.
Now owned by a non-profit organization, the house is undergoing a dramatic transformation to restore its original colonial grandeur and enable it to serve as a hands-on center for historic preservation, training, and education.
