Here are just some of the ways in which the community
participates in The Speaker’s House. If you would
like to volunteer in any capacity, please contact info@speakershouse.org

1.
Volunteer:
Volunteers built this organization and continue to play
a key role in its development by serving on committees,
contributing time and expertise, helping out at special
events and so on.
2.
In-kind services:
Organizations like Electrical Workers Local Union 380
are working to update the wiring in the house
Prior
to the restoration of The Speaker’s House, we
are seeking in-kind donations to help stabilize the
structure. Please contact us if you are able to provide
any of the following services:
Roofing and gutter installation, architectural planning,
site grading, lightning protection, security systems,
fire detection, or carpentry.
3.
Scout Projects:
Boy Scout Troop 113 has contributed dozens of hours
of volunteer time to help clean up the grounds after
a wind storm knocked down six large trees. Other troop
members will be working to attain their Eagle Scout
Rank by completing other projects on the property.
4.
Monetary contributions
Since its inception dozens of gifts have come to The
Speaker’s House from individuals, foundations,
and corporations. To the right is a list of major donors.
